EQUINOX OUTDOOR LEARNING
Equinox Outdoor Learning is an alternative education provision based at Gorse Hill City Farm, following a child led, hands on learning experience bespoke to the individual learners needs.
Run by a qualified primary school teacher and a forest school practitioner, with extensive experience of working with children and young adults within specialist provisions.
We offer places for children with individual needs including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, from 6-14 years old.
Each child follows an individual bespoke program, which can include AQA certificates linked to the activities we undertake.
Our sessions includeanimal care, farm duties, forest school activities, foraging, outdoor cooking, team building, arts and crafts with natural resources and a plant to plate project where we will grow our own food from seeds.
Opening days and times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 2pm.
